Alba Porras, MA, LAC, 500-RYT, YACEP, is a passionate yoga teacher, meditation coach, and facilitator of movement and mindfulness. Alba brings over a decade of experience in guiding individuals toward holistic wellness. With a Master’s degree in Mental Health & Rehabilitation Counseling from The University of Arizona, and a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences from York University, Alba seamlessly integrates her expertise in mental health and physical wellness. As the founder and lead trainer of Wellzense Health Studio, Alba has empowered countless individuals through various yoga modalities, including Aerial Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and Yoga Wall. Her dedication to outreach extends beyond the studio, as she has facilitated workshops on health and wellness topics and co-led wellness retreats across the United States and Asia.With certifications in trauma-informed yoga, Yin Yoga, Trauma Releasing Exercises, Restorative Yoga, and many more, Alba is dedicated to creating safe and inclusive spaces for individuals to explore the mind-body connection.
